WILLMAR — Families from all around came out to enjoy a warm, sunny fall afternoon on Tuesday as the Willmar Fire Department welcomed the community to the station for the 16th annual Family Night at the Fire Station.
Attendees kicked off the two-hour event with tacos in a bag, before heading outdoors to meet with and take photos with Sparky the Fire Dog.
Families found tons of interactive offerings to check out throughout the afternoon, including spraying a fire hose, climbing into a Life Link Helicopter, fire truck tours and a vehicle extrication with the Kandiyohi County Rescue Squad.
