C. H. Kline, for some time engineer of the water works at Dayton. O., has been appointed assistant engineer.

Burton Lowther, Assoc. M. Am. Soc. C. E. constructing engineer of the water works department, Kansas City. Mo., has been appointed chief engineer of water works, succeeding C. N. Miller, Assoc. M. Am. Soc. C. E., resigned.
